In the NHL, the Buffalo Sabres beat the Florida Panthers 5 to 3, the Ottawa Senators handled the New Jersey Devils 4 to 1 behind Linus Ullmark’s 29 saves, and the Minnesota Wild scored three first-period goals in a 4 to 2 win over the Vegas Golden Knights.
