The New York Yankees beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 8 to 5 behind two Jazz Chisholm Jr. homers, the Seattle Mariners blanked the Cincinnati Reds 8 to 0 with Cal Raleigh driving in five on a grand slam, and the Cleveland Guardians rolled past the Minnesota Twins 13 to 4. In WTA tennis, Mayar Sherif won the Iasi Open final after Paula Badosa retired in the second set.

Looking ahead, MLB has the same matchups back on the board today, with the Los Angeles Dodgers and Philadelphia Phillies carrying the most star power after Monday’s slugfest.
